How a UAE FMCG distributor would use ProDistro
This is a worked example of a FMCG wholesaler supplying kirana-style and supermarket accounts in dirhams. Amounts would display in UAE dirhams (AED). It is not a customer story, and it does not include a company name, a quote, or performance numbers. Named stories are published only for real ProDistro users.
1. Signup in AED
The company is created with city and trade name, and AED is selected at signup so invoices and balances show dirhams from day one.
2. Carton stock for fast-moving SKUs
Purchases arrive in cartons or cases. Products store the units per carton so sales of loose pieces still leave a believable on-hand quantity.
3. Credit to retail accounts
Many Gulf retail accounts buy on credit. Each invoice increases that shop’s outstanding balance in AED.
4. Collections after delivery routes
After a route, staff record cash or transfer receipts against customers. Partial payments leave a clear remainder for the next visit.
5. Same product as Pakistan or the US
